Little factual detail is known about these trains, although it is understood production was by the Moscow Cable Company from 1951 until the late 1960s, possibly right up to 1969. Train Sets were only available as complete sets, packed in a large wooden crate, complete with trains, track, accessories, wiring and controller. Spare parts such as light bulbs were available, toigether with vehicles, track and accessories (See Literature).
The sets issued were the same composition throughout production, although there were detail differences, with sets being described as Stalin era and, subsequently, Khrushchev era, during which time references to Stalin were removed in accordance with Khrushchev's de-Stalinisation of the USSR.
