This page illustrates a range of tins, often cookie/biscuit tins, sweet/candy tins, money boxes/banks and many others which are not manufactured for toy train use but are often ideal layout accessories due to their size and construction. Many are decorated with snow, aimed at the Christmas market. Two of the best known British producers are Ian Logan and Silver Cross. Most of those illustrated are relatively modern (post 1980).
