Fobbi was established by Jacques Barret, an ex employee of Jouef, in 1980, releasing cheaper, more toy like models, aimed firmly at the lower end of the H0 market. Four locomotives were produced, all sharing the same power bogie, being BB67007, BB22200, BB15000 and TGV. Fobbi models were mainly plastic, clip together wherever possible, to minimise costs.
