The Story of Williams Electric Trains, by John Hubbard (published by Greenberg Publishing Co), mentions that Diners were made and offered for sale in 1976. The Diners were produced from Madison car bodies. The first Diner version was painted red. The second version was painted silver to match the TCA's 25th Anniversary train. A black painted Masonite base was available separately.
