Toy Importers Company, using the name Timpo, was created by Ally Gee (born Solaman Gawrylovitz in Germany, 1907), initially producing figures and similar toys from wood and other materials, and switched to hollow cast metal after WWII, and plastic in 1955. Timpo continued trading until 1979 or 80.
