W W Tasker was an author concerned with railways in Wales, his best known book perhaps being Railways in the Sirhowy Valley, published 1978. Tasker of Argoed, as he was known, also supplied parts, including rivet stamped ironwork, for 7mm (0) scale wagon construction, during the 1950s.
