Trains Avions Bateaux (TAB, Trains Planes Ships) was established on Rue Pernety, Paris by Monsieur Gérard in 1947, where he commenced production of cast bronze 0 scale models including SNCF Class BB 100 (1500v DC 4-axle electric locomotives originally built for the Chemin de Fer de Paris à Orléans in the 1920s) and a Nord 231 C 'Super-Pacific', built in 1923 and used to pull the Flèche d'Or (Golden Arrow) train, between Calais and Paris.
