Track and Track Accessories

The subject of Seki track is somewhat long and complex, particularly given the relatively short production time. There are at least three 'standard' track lengths, and three radii of track, none of which enable contruction of concentric circles with crossovers using Seki turnouts. There are at least three types of sleeper (tie), plus banked options. Atempting to build a layout in 1938, using Seki track, would have been challenging.

Peter Wray explains all in his 'must have' book, Stronlight Model Railways, which is sub titled The story of a Model Railway system which promised much. The sub title says it all.
