The model illustrated below was offered by a well known and respected dealer, who described it thus :
Produced by Streamline Models, circa 1975. I know very little about this company other than they were based in the North East and were active in the early 1970s.
Construction is in brass and tinplate. Fitted with a Bond's motor & gearbox for 12 Volt DC operation. Bond's driving & bogie wheels, nicely fluted rods and valve gear. The third rail pick-ups look rather crude but are actually very efficient. Good smooth runner and is happy on 3ft. radius track. Weighing in at 1.4 Kg. and measuring 13" long overall, this is a substantial and well built model.
Well finished in satin L.M.S. black livery with gold lettering & red lining.

Construction is of brass, incorporating a single piece die-cast moulding for the boiler cladding / smoke box. Fitted with what looks to be a Crailcrest motor and gearbox for 12 Volt DC operation. Bond's driving and bogie wheels, very nicely fluted rods and valve gear, Cawthorn tender and pony wheels. The third rail pick-ups look rather crude but are actually very efficient. Good smooth runner and happy on 3ft. radius track. Weighing in at 2.135 Kg. and measuring 21" long overall, this is a substantial and well built model.
Well finished in matt L.M.S. maroon livery with well executed gold lining, notably the very difficult front end.
