Stevens Model Dockyard was a UK based company first established in 1843, and, as mentioned in the linked site, may or may not have been responsible for many of the railway related models attributed to them. It is said that much of their output should be attributed to James Bedington (The Birmingham Model Engineering Co, Tessted).
The products advertised by Stevens Model Dockyard were many and varied, including sailing and steam boats, machine tools, stationary and railway steam engines, Meccano, clockwork and electric motors, electrical accessories and optical instruments.
