Starlux figures date back to 1946, and were produced until 1996. The following year (1997) Starlux was relaunched as New Starlux, having been purchased by a group lead by French singer and actor Francis Lalanne. New Starlux continued until 2005. Whilst Starlux are best known for their military figures which range from knights to the 'wild west', the company also produced ranges of civilians and railway staff, to approximately 0 gauge 1/45 scale (40mm tall).
