Carl Rydin is perhaps best known for his Standard Gauge track; Jim Bunte favourably reviewed Rydin Industries standard gauge switches in Classic Toy Trains magazine, August 1990. Carl Rydin also invented the knucle coupler which became Lionel's post war standard.
