Marshall Stewart (c1920) was father and son Archibald Marshall Reidpath (father) and Archibald Stewart Reidpath (son), their first catalogue being exclusivly 0 gauge models although by 1932 became Stewart Reidpath Ltd, focussing on H0 and, later, 00 models. However, Stewart Reidpath, using the names Stewart Reidpath Limited, S-R Limited and Essar would, like Bassett-Lowke, produce almost any model to suit customer requirements. A wooden cattle wagon, gauge 1, marked S-R Ltd is known, as is a wooden grey painted ship model marked Stewart-Reidpath Ltd (Imperial War Museum collection).
