American Standard Car Company, or ASCC, was a manufacturer of 0 scale kits, owned and created by Ralph Brown. ASCC produced kits for a large range of passenger cars, both heavyweight and lightweight, as well as freight cars, airslide covered hopper and the railgon kit. Mr Brown sold the lightweight cars to Pete Plunkett who named his company American Lightweight Car Company, and David Duncan later bought the heavyweights and called his company Pullman Standard Car Company. The lightweight car kits were subsequently sold by Paul Plunkett's widow, Linda.
