Prototype Model Railways was a pre war Australian company run by John Rogers Day and Alan David Budge from approx. 1935 until John Day enlisted in the Army in July 1940, when production ceased. The company offered wooden models of Victoria Railway prototypes. Many thanks to Tony Muir's excellent Australian Toy Steam site (see above for link).
