Miniature Steam Railways (MSR) was a small manufacturer based in Dallas, Texas, 1980s/90s, run by two steam enthusiasts, Jim Wilson and Terry Shirley. MSR produced an Americanised version of the British Mamod 0 gauge live steam locomotive, together with a tender and range of cars including tank cars, crane car and matching boom car.
Further details of Miniature Steam Railways (MSR) may be found at Peter Jones Locomotive works, and a January 2007 Locomotive of the Month review by Marc Horovitz, complete with short history and copious photographs.
