Meccao Ltd marketed three steam engines, the first, a verticle engine, c1914 almost certainly made by Bing for Meccano, the second, another vertical engine, 1929 made by Meccano themselves and the third, a horizontal engine, 1965, made by Mamod for Meccano. The Mamod made engine was subsequently sold by Mamod as the Mamod SP3.
