VEB Mantissa was a state owned company in the post war German Democratic Republic (East Germany), best known for the production of slide rules and other teaching aids. Part of the teaching aids range comprised a series of wooden models, approximatey and doubtless coincidentally 0 gauge size. Various models were utilised particularly for driving and road safety instruction.
