Lemez Toys

Budapest Hungary

Lemez Toys mass produced toys from shortly after WWII, initially tinplate, switching to more plastic use during the 1970s. The range produced was huge, mainly for export, with many toys including a mechanical feature such as a friction motor or clockwork power. The range included channel railways with a shunting locomotive (Tolato Mozdony) and passenger or freight cars.
