The history of Kovap may be traced back to the The Sedlák brothers who began producing toys in 1946. The traditional tin toy production continues today, epitomised by the Kovap tractor and trailer. Most farm equipment is 1:25 scale, but many items, including (some?) road vehicles, are 1:43 scale, ideal for 0 gauge layouts.
