George Alan introduced chemical milled brass kits during the early 1970s, and, in 1974, formed Kemilway with draughtsman George Pring and modeller Tony Dyer. Kemilway continues to produce both 4mm and 7mm scale brass kits as well as a range of ready to run models, built to customer order.
Peter K Dawson began producing 4mm brass kits in the late 1970s and, in 1982, introduced the Peter K range of kits together with both 4mm and 7mm scale ready to run models to customer order. George Pring of Kemilway passed away late 1990s and Peter Dawson took over the company, merging the Kemilway and Peter K ranges.
