Keiding 0 Gauge

(Milwaukee WI USA)

Keiding was listed in 'Your Guide to Model Railroads', Copyright 1957, Bronco-Modelcraft, Inc. The listing mentions both single and double track tunnels. From the Keiding Inc web site :

History was made in the 1920s when Andrew Keiding, a chemist by trade, began making paper mache flower pots in his kitchen. He sold these floral containers, made from old newspapers and wax, to local churches. Demand for the pots grew and in 1934, seeing an opportunity, Andrew Keiding filed a patent for Molded Paper Article and the Art of the Manufacture Thereof. In 1939 Andrew Keiding founded Keiding Paper Products Company – Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the history of manufacturing heavy-wall molded pulp/molded fiber in the United States was born.
