Junior Bridge Co manufactured two similar but distinctly different signal bridges, both with the catalog number 401. The Singal Bridges are 11 inches wide, 8 inches high and 3.5 inches deep, aluminium or silver in colour, with two signal lights.
The most obvious difference between the two versions is sunshades over the lights. One version has sunshades, the other does not. The version WITH sunshades has a ladder on one side, the other does not.
While both bridges have two lights, the version without sunshades or ladder has the two bulbs wired together whereas the other version, with sunshades and ladder, has the two bulbs wired for independent operation. The mounting of bulbs differs, allowing independent wiring for the version with sunshades and ladder.
