Josfel was formed in Barcelona during WWII by JOSé FELiu who produced toy trains aimed at the more wealthy market. During the late 1940s, Feliu emigrated to South America, leaving his business in the hands of experienced salesman Jaime González Forrellac. Shortly thereafter, González and his partner Ignacio Cuatrecases purchased the Josfel business from José Feliu. During 1951 Ignacio Cuatrecases exited the business, and Jaime González Forrellac launched a new business, Electrotren.
For the full story of Josfel and Electrotren, see the Spanish Railmotif site.
