Joe's Trains was a range created by Joe Bender who was a metal worker, who discovered a large quantity of unused tin litho sheets originally created for Jim and Debby Flynn's New Marx company. Being a metal worker, Joe Bender had access to the stamping, bending and other machinery necessary to trasform the sheets into complete cars. Joe Bender did not created any new artwork, all the models produced being ex New Marx. The artwork of the boxes for Joe's Trains was similar to that used by New Marx, although internally, Joe's Trains boxes included cut outs for couplers and roof walks.
