Brian Huxley introduced his Huxley Series of Hornby Dublo 'Neverwazzas' in late 1993, production continuing for five years, although sales of existing stock continued beyond that time. Around a thousand models were created, all scaled down Hornby 0 wagons in etched brass, each mounted on an original Hornby Dublo chassis. The bodies were spray painted, with transfers (decals) by Les and Rob Horton of Wessex Transfers and boxes by Tony Cooper.
There were thirteen basic designs, Barrel Wagons, Brake Vans, Breakdown Vans, Cattle Trucks, Cement Wagons, Cranes, Hoppers, Luggage Vans, Milk Vans, Open or Coal Wagons, Rotary Tippers, Side Tippers and Snow Ploughs, all available in various liveries, with two or three rail wheels. Most had at least one moving part, such as sliding door, cranes snow ploughs etc.
The full story, with ample colour illustrations, is told in the HRCA Journal number 528, November 2017.
