Hobby Den was a business formed by Stan Milligan and Reg Stamford in 1949, initially to provide supplies for live steam modellers. The business expanded and produced a modest range of 12v DC electric locomotives to 0 scale, but were not a runaway success, Hobby Den ceasing to trade in 1953.
