Hawk Model company produced various wooden kits for rolling stock construction, pre World War II, in gauges 0 and 00. A 1939 catalogue shows an address at 3521 W. Fullerton Avenue, Chicago. The same address appears on an advertisement from 1941. By 1955, the address was 4314 N. California Ave, Chicago, and plastic kits were advertised. A cable car kit box from 1967 states the address as Rockford, Illinois (85 miles from Chicago).
