Christian Götz und Sohn, trading as Göso, was established as toy makers in 1878, mainly producing accessories for dolls' houses. Tinplate clockwork powered military models were produced during and after the Great War, followed by more general tin toy production. Production switched to plastic toys during the 1950s, the firm finally ceasing to trade in 1971. Göso is known to have produced toy train accessories on behalf of Danish manufactuer Wittrock.
