Eric Fuchs (rhymes with Dukes) was a Lionel and Anerican Flyer dealer who developed and advertised the Tremont 26 fully assembled three rail switch (turnout), which comprised brass rail on a dark wood plinth, the switch height being the same as contemporary Gargraves and 027 profile track. Tremont 26 switches, assumed to be named after the business street address, were not unlike similar switches produced by Bob Peare and Hirth Hobbies.
A four page article concerning Eric Fuchs appeared in the December 2010 edition of Classic Toy Trains magazine.
