Ferrovie Elettriche in Miniatura (Electric Railways in Miniature, or Miniature Electric Railways) was an Italian company which manufactured 0 gauge track, turnouts (points, switches) and accessories. It is believed that F.E.M. products were shared with other Italian post war manufacturers Giocattoli Elettro Meccanici (Biaggi), Elettren and FAGE. (Please see below).

Special thanks to Ni Roth who was kind enough to send the three photos below. The photos show an Elettren SBB CFF 3rd class coach, originally sold by G Feucht in Zurich. The couplings are clearly marked FEM which appears to confirm that FEM supplied parts to other manufacturers. The is no evidence to suggest that the couplings have been changed.
