Exacta Scale Models made a series of streamlined and 'old style' passenger cars in scales 0, S, 00 and H0 from 1946, the cars comprising copper sides, wood roof, brass floor and additional white metal parts. Cars were available in kit form or assembled, ready to paint. Exacta was taken over by Central Lines in 1947, at which point S and 00 production ceased. Central Lines switched to resin production 1950 due to copper shortages caused by the Korean conflict.
