Eheim was founded in 1949 by Gunther Eheim for the Repair and Production of Technical Toys. By 1962, the company was producing aquatic products, for which they remain well known today. Perhaps the best known Eheim toy is the H0 scale trolley bus system. The Radio and Television Tower illustrated below was issued as an accessory for the trolley bus system although, standing at 60cm (24 inches) high, it is an impressive accessory in any scale. Model numbers 301, 302 and 303 included ready built and kit models, with or without a working lift and illumination.
