DuPage (or Du Page?) Plastics Company appear to have launched their building sets in 1946. The New York Times issue dated 17th October 1946 reports "A trim miniature village made of new plastic building sets that enable homeplanners to make models of their future house or children to build toy supermarkets and factories was displayed yesterday at the Gotham Hotel by the DuPage Plastics Company".
