Crown Model Products was initially a partnership between Don Stubbs of Northeast Trains in Peabody, MA and Mike McCormack. Crown made molds for a 1930s reefer and steel box car, the models being assembled in Waltham MA, using Weaver trucks. Don Stubbs sold his share of the business to Mike McCormack, who sold out to Weaver.
