Clyde Model Dockyard was a model shop established in 1789, in Argyll Arcade, Glasgow, initially as a producer of models for the Admiralty, then shipping models, parts and accessories. Clyde Model Dockyard dealt in a huge range of model railway products, particularly in the larger gauges, from makers including Carette, Marklin, Bing and Hornby.
Whilst not a commercial manufacturer of model railways, Clyde are known to have commissioned models from other manufacturers including Bar Knight, with whom they shared a senior staff member.
