Castos was a 'concrete' casting or moulding set, believed to have been launched c1947. The set comprised building plans, casting material (Plaster of Paris, or similar?) and wooden moulding shapes, the construction of a building requiring three stages - the construction of moulds, the creation of cast parts using the moulds, then assembly of the model using the moulded parts. The finished model could then be painted as required. Plans include those for railway buildings, which are approximately 0 scale in size.
