C Butcher and Co of Watford were active from approximately 1910-1916, manufacturing models in gauges 0, 1, 2 and 3, the 0 gauge models powered by 4-6v DC mechanisms. The company also produced 4 and 8 wheeled passenger coaches and goods (freight) wagons as well as a range of accessories, particularly for Bassett-Lowke, who absored at least part of the Butcher range.
