The vehicle illustrated below is a standard Bing 'shortie' eight wheeled LNER teak 265 1st 3rd composite coach which has been modified to create a street car. One Bing bogie (truck) has been removed and replaced by a modern can motor attached to a modified Hornby No 1 Special tender chassis. The Bing chassis appears to have been cut and bent to accomodate the new motor. Sold via eBay, final price USD 566, 2008.
