Antal was an early post war (1940s/50s) manufacturer, best remembered for their PLM 231-H pacific 231 (4-6-2) express tender locomotive available in green or black livery, 20v DC two rail, 20v DC three rail and 20v AC three rail, together with eight wheeled passenger coaches in PLM, SNCF and CIWL livery. At least ten variations of locomotive are claimed.
