Gilco was the trade name used by Giltoy of Birmingham who produced toys during the 1950s. The best known today are the road signs which are of similar size to Dinky. Gilco also produced chocolate machines as illustrated below, and an unusual set of tiny die cast cars, measuring 2cm (less than an inch) in length.
