SEL (Signalling Equipment Ltd.) was a subsidiary of J & L Randall Ltd, of Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, and were perhaps best known for their ranges of battery powered toy train signals, and traffic lights. The company manufactured toy steam engines from 1946 until 1965. The parent company is best known for the Merit range of plastic '00' toy train accessories.
