A German firm dating back to 1887, and still in business today, producing a range of model railway equipment. Toy Steam production began when Fleischmann took over fellow German firm Doll, in 1938, due to the then German political climate. Peter Doll was Jewish. Fleischmann continued to produce steam toys until the mid 1960s.
