The 0 scale product line of Irv Athearn was purchased by George Menzies, early 1950s. Menzies produced ex Athearn products for twenty years, after which the tooling was sold to Bob Reynolds, who continued production, before the tooling eventually passed through the hands of several new owners including Pacific HO, Locomotive Workshop, Old Pullman Model Railroads and Boxcar Jim Watson).
