Marx EMD E-7 AB units in Rock Island livery.
Marx introduced the E-7 units, in Rock Island livery, in 1958. They were catalogued until 1974. The three units (powered A, unpowered A and unpowered B) were fitted with either tab and slot or plastic tilt couplers. The B unit illustrated appears to be fitted with tilt coupler at one end, and tab and slot at the other, indicating that it was not originally sold as part of an ABA set.
