The first Marescot locomotive was a freelance 4-4-4 with three axle tender, followed shortly after by a French ETAT pacific 4-6-2. Marescot made passenger coaches to match both locomotives, and freight wagons. Perhaps less well known is a range made by Marescot in gauge 1. Original Marescot models may be identified by a French flag on the underside of the model, wearing the initials RM. Marescot sold the business to Fournerou 1928.
