The London Toy & Model Museum was established by Allen Levy (of New Cavendish Books and Ace Trains) in 1982, subsequently sold to Fujita Corporation in 1989 before finally closing in 1999.

Illustrated below is a vitreous enamel sign manuactured by Garnier on behalf of The London Toy & Model Museum and Hornby Railway Collectors Association, to commemorate the death of Frank Hornby 50 years earlier, in 1936. The sign is 24 x 30 mm, in a limited edition of 250.
