A display of O gauge toy trains on Ballater railway station, 9th to 17th August 2003. The trains
were running from 09.00 to 18.00 each day, on a layout built for the event, using a mixture of modern K-Line
electric track, Hornby clockwork track from the 1950s and a mixture of Lionel and Marx 027 electric track
from pre war to fairly recent times. A total of nine electric locos were available, plus two visiting electric
locos, manufactured by Hornby, Bing, Lionel and Marx. Stock was from those manufacturers, and more, dating from
the mid 1920s to late 1960s.
