The third guest loco provided by Bill Emslie, who travelled to Ballater from Banchory several times during the week, always bringing something to run. This is Hornby clockwork 4-4-0 tender loco, numbered 2711, in LMS black livery. This was a wreck when Bill acquired it, so he stripped and painted it, added the missing parts and completed the decoration with transfers available through the HRCA. The loco looks absolutely beautifil although, unfortunately, we couldn't run it, as the spring awaits replacement.
