The loco on the turntable is a French Hornby 0-4-0 tender loco, which, unfortunately, lacks half a chassis, and a motor. The turntable area is illuminated by a Marx (US) tower, and the area is signalled by all manner of strange devices! The level crossing is a lovely item - anyone care to guess when it was made, and by whom? I would like to know.
